THOMAS BENN
Director

Educated at Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh and Guilford College, Thomas commenced his career at Bear Stearns on the European Bond Desk in London, from where he quickly progressed to become an open outcry Futures & Options trader on the London International Financial Futures & Options Exchange (LIFFE). Thomas has in excess of 25 years’ experience working within the investment banking and private equity arena across Europe, Middle East and Asia for the likes Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas (DEXX Energy Desk) specialising in G7 Foreign Exchange Exotic Options. Latterly he founded and has led KinKane Capital, an asset management business based in London.
Thomas has negotiated, structured and led several Joint Venture partnerships, acquisitions and technically complex financial transactions within the physical commodity sectors, most notably Oil & Gas and Non- Ferrous metals. These transactions often require foreign exchange exposure analysis and high-level risk management.
He has a deep understanding of negotiation, deal structuring, and experience in working across a multitude of sectors and jurisdictions within multi-cultural environments and an ability to immerse in detail, enabling formulation of original investment strategies supported by the creation of bespoke project solutions.
He recently pioneered Advanced Engineering Solutions from China into both UAE and Africa; developing real estate products and systems for both developed and emerging economies.

Having graduated at Kingston University (Business School) in London with a Honors degree in Business Information Technology BSc, Demetrios has in excess of 10yrs experience in Aviation and International trade. Actively engaged in the structuring and negotiation of multiple million-dollar, cross territory transactions Demetrios has successfully led an international team and grown his current business, Aeras Aviation DWC LLC to a $60m turnover concern.
Having an excellent reputation for professionalism and performance with many of the major airlines and MROs across the globe, Demetrios has been pivotal in the development of key relationships with banking institutions, leasing companies and resellers to achieve superior investor returns sustainably and ethically.
His unparalleled logistical expertise, sales skills and multi-lingual capability, has enabled him to understand people and businesses from diverse cultures and backgrounds and to formulate, negotiate, execute and close a multitude of bespoke deals internationally, for both organisations and individuals within the aviation and commodities arena.
Through his extensive reach with some of the world’s most affluent individuals pan Africa & MENA Demetrios is now deploying his interpersonal and technical ability within BRUTON in order to grow and establish a foothold within Dubai’s ever expanding luxury commodity market.
JAVIER CANOS

Originally from Valencia, Spain and educated at the University of Zaragoza, a professional diamantaire and diamond grader certified by the IGI, Javier has travelled extensively both personally and professionally. Fluent in Spanish and English with conversational Portuguese and Italian, Javier brings a wealth of international experience within the Bruton team.
Javier, over the years has established and cultivated an exceptional network of top tier professionals across multiple sectors and territories. An expert in client relations with 10yrs+ experience across Europe, MENA, Australia and the United States. Javier is a seasoned professional within the Corporate PR and Business Development space working with many global brands in his career and is comfortable managing teams to achieve a specific result via the implementation of strategic process.
With exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to combine vision and strong business acumen combined with well-developed project management and leadership qualities, Javier is ideally equipped to continue the future growth and expansion of the Bruton enterprise.

PRIGESH KALLEN
Finance Manager

Originally from Kerela, India Prigesh Kallen graduated from Payyanur College affiliated to Kannur University, Kerala in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. Highly numerate with a passion for analytics, Prigesh decided to further his studies at the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) where he gained a distinction in the Chartered Accountancy course.
As part of the ICAI curriculum, Prigesh trained as a full-time Articled Assistant at Varma Chartered Accountants gaining experience in auditing, assurance, corporate services, taxation and advisory.
Keen to broaden his horizons and obtain international experience Prigesh in 2017 accepted an accounts executive position at the respected Emirates Chartered Accountants Group, based in the extremely competitive and dynamic United Arab Emirates where he was responsible for a diverse portfolio of 20+ clients.
After a successful 3-year stint at ECA Group Prigesh was approached by Aeras Aviation in Dubai, UAE to become Accounts and Finance Manager operating within the international aviation industry. More recently this roll has expanded to encompass the same roll for Bruton Gold Trading LLC that is an organisation operated by affiliated management and ownership. Aviation and the global commodities industry require an exceptional high level of diligence and regulatory compliance which for that reason Prigesh has become an invaluable member of the team.
